A large part of Mojacar beach is a designated area of natural beauty. Take the coastal road out of Mojacar and you’ll come across a rough track which turns off towards the sea. Follow the track to discover charming, isolated coves that are ideal for beach lovers who prefer quiet solitude.
The local authorities have set strict guidelines preventing any high-rise buildings being built long the coastline, as they want to protect the region and prevent it from becoming another of Spain’s over-developed Costas.
