This charming Traditional Cortijo, set in the tranquil rolling hills, above Mojacar Playa, offers a perfect relaxing getaway holiday destination.
With relaxing in mind there are Yoga Pilates classes in Bedar which you drop into . Alternatively you can just do your own meditation in the relaxing Cortio.
The clear night skies make it a romantic place too, a bottle of wine and star gazing!! With the morning sun rising over the village of Mojacar Pueblo and the evening sun setting behind the mountains the sunrises and sunset colours are something to behold.
The property itself is a reformed farm house. The original local stone, the traditionally formed vaulted ceilings only add to the traditional charm.
The front of the property faces South with far reaching views of the mountains. To the East there is an uninterrupted view to the sea. To the West is the pretty village of Bedar. North, the back of the Cortijo there are also hills. All around is perfectly natural and quiet, with the Ibex and wild Boar making an appearance at times.
Currently the Cortio does NOT have a pool. Bedar has a municipal pool, and its only a 25 min drive to the beach! The pretty village Bedar offers a choice of places to eat drink or just have a coffee and watch the world go by. The beach area along Playa Mojacar offers a wide range of eateries and bars. There is a wealth of history in the area, national parks and even a desert to see.
The area offers good walking routes.
The accommodation comprises two on suite double bedrooms one of which has two twin beds. The dining sitting kitchen area is open plan making a social area.
There is air conditioning in both bedrooms and one unit in the living area.
Outside: to the front a varanda with comfortable seating and also a large area for outside eating and BBQ. On either side there are areas to which you can sit in the sun or in the shade. Below the main terrace is the Pen which offers a quiet area with the dappled shade of a tree. (although this area has not yet been fully landscaped)There is also ample parking. The road to Curato has a tarmac top.
