In a quiet corner of eastern Andalusia in the mediterranean province of Almería lies the charming, unspoilt traditional white pueblo of Bédar. Here you will discover the delights of Casa Kurraba, a lovingly renovated artist’s retreat. Filled with original features, sitting on flat ground along the pueblo’s perimeter, with parking adjacent, Casa Kurraba offers its guests modern comforts in a stylish casita setting and just a short stroll from all the pueblo’s amenities. The en-suite master bedroom houses a sunken bath with overhead shower, tadelakt style storage and antique French bed. The second double bedroom has Andalusian shelving along one wall. A further snug area sleeps 2 in singles beds or a double and leads to the courtyard garden. Upstairs is a marble lined wet room with private dressing area to side. The custom built fully equipped kitchen houses dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave/grill, induction hob and built in full sized oven. All appliances are new. A breakfast bar provides informal dining. The spacious lounge area with leather seating is a place to relax inside, socialise, read or watch Tv. Internet and UKTV is provided. Moroccan and Moorish influences feature throughout, with wrought iron rejas, original floor tiles and subdued lighting. The owner has made clever use of upcycled materials and original paintings with artisanal flair.

At the far end of the courtyard garden the artist’s studio now houses a self contained en-suite double bedroom. Wrought iron rejas and arched doors lead into the bedroom area. Locally quarried stone houses a built in bath with overhead shower and tadelakt style unit with Moroccan ceramic washbasin.

The private, secluded fully enclosed courtyard garden with its high walls, mature fig trees and bougainvilleas offers a relaxing terrace to take in the sun or cool down in the 8×6’ tadelakt style dip pool with viewing window and stunning valley vista. Dining outside under the bougainvillea branches as the sun is setting, the table easily seats eight or more and subdued lighting adds atmosphere. A utility side room off the terrace provides a shower with washbasin to freshen up outside and washing machine. A reja side gate leads out to the cobbled side street where a small public parking is available.

An alluring 3 bedroom detached villa, situated on a quiet neighbourhood in Huerta Nueva, complete with a private pool and underground parking/storage space.

When entering the property, you step into the porch entrance, then straight to the left of you, you walk into a bright, airy and spacious, open plan living and dining room, which is split onto two levels. To the right of the dining area is the kitchen which has a built in siemens oven and microwave, gas hob cooker, fridge/freezer and single drainer sink. A stunning hacienda style villa, located in the traditional Spanish village in the peaceful Andalucian countryside yet only 15mins drive to the stunning local beaches and the nightlife of the coast.   Set in 1.5 acres of land and at the end of a private road shared by 4 neighbouring villas.   Upon arriving at the villa, the 100 metre private drive leads to the ample lower level of the land with double shower/toilet block which could be easily converted into stables or storage if desires.   The drive then leads to the upper level parking area with double garage and integral workshop.  Ample parking for six vehicles.

Casa Cheryl

Casa Cheryl is a beautiful traditional Spanish villa situated in Mojacar, that is full of exquisite taste and is located within a prestigious neighbourhood. The gate to the property, is almost hidden beneath beautiful greenery, which then leads to the front garden. Upon entering, you are welcomed by the idyllic swimming pool and to the left of you, you have flourishing bushes, home to some stunning flowers. There are two areas of potential eating areas, one near the pool and one under shade on the terrace area. On the terrace area, you are introduced to an old-fashioned wooden door, which then leads you into the entrance of this alluring villa.

In the entrance, it is open plan to the living room (to the left), with huge picture window overlooking the private pool area, and the dining room/kitchen (in front). There is a striking log burning fire placed in the hallway, which is perfect for heating up all areas in the winter season. The living room, is magnificently designed and gives the feel of a homely atmosphere. There is a double bedroom that leads off the living room, which has a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space. In addition to this, there is an en-suite bathroom, consisting of a bath and a wet room shower, perfect for relaxation.

The second bedroom, leads from the entrance and again, has a double bed . When leaving the double room, on your right there is a family bathroom.

The dining room table is suitable for up to six persons and is situated alongside the cosy kitchen, equipped with standard appliances, plates, glasses and cutlery.

Through the kitchen door, is the utility room and a large space which then leads to a private bedroom. This bedroom, also has a double bed, as well as its own wet shower room. Perfect, for those that want a bit of privacy away from the family noise.

There is a peaceful seating/dining area which is set outside through the dining room door, which gives such a soothing and enchanting feel, as you sit and listen to the sound of the fruit trees blowing in the wind.

Neighbouring areas consisting of Vera, Turre, Garrucha and Los Gallardos ensure there are plenty of activities you can do. The Mojacar Pueblo is also a place to visit, with it´s historic lanes and enchanting, panoramic views.
